Orly 2 drinking water plant - design - build Stereau for Eau de Paris

Organized by Le Moniteur and Les Cahiers techniques du Bâtiment, the Trophées du BIM d’Or are awarded each year to the best projects carried out using BIM (Building Information Modeling) models.

The Silver BIM award in the category for renovation projects over 30,000 m² also honors all Stereau teams. This award recognizes our expertise in creating digital models for the Orly drinking water production modernization project (150,0000 m3/day).

This exceptional facility uses the best of Stereau’s patented CarboPlus® technology to supply nearly 650,000 Parisians with top-quality, micropollutant-free drinking water.

More than just a technological innovation, the BIM process and digital mock-up are for us a strategic ally in the design, construction and long-term maintenance of the water treatment facilities entrusted to us. Like the Orly drinking water plant, they enable our local authority customers to sustainably improve the economic and environmental performance of their industrial assets, paving the way for enhanced plant management via the digital twin.

Thanks to Eau de Paris for its confidence, and well done to all the players and partners involved in this collaborative BIM project, which has greatly facilitated every stage of the project, from design to operation, which is now underway.

"Through this award, all Stereau teams are honored to be associated with this distinction".
In October 2022, Eau de Paris was awarded the Silver BIM for the Orly drinking water plant designed and built by Stereau.
