While some local authorities have been able to solve the problem by mixing with a new resource, the town of Coulommiers was looking for a more sustainable solution that was easier to operate. Restrictions on use have now been lifted following commissioning of the new drinking water plant designed and built by Stereau. To reduce the fluoride and strontium content of water and distribute water that complies with current quality requirements, Saur&#8217;s Engineering subsidiary has implemented a water treatment process that is unique in France at the new Coulommiers drinking water production plant.
