A project dedicated to environmental excellence.<\/strong><\/p><p>Anticipating regulatory changes, the new facility uses membrane filtration via the AquaRM\u00ae biological process, Stereau&#8217;s patented technology, which is particularly well-suited to discharges into sensitive natural environments, and opens the way to the reuse of treated wastewater (REUT).<\/p><p>With its Ammonair\u00ae ventilation control system, photovoltaic panels, energy recovery from heating and air-conditioning equipment and heat pumps, the Fos-sur-Mer plant creates its own energy for greater sobriety and a smaller carbon footprint.<\/p><p>With no noise or odour pollution, the plant blends in perfectly with its surroundings. Fully enclosed, it is equipped with the Lanodor\u00ae &#8220;green&#8221; deodorization process, with no chemical inputs and a low carbon footprint.<\/p><p>This new facility, with a capacity of 28,000 population equivalents, is responsible for treating the wastewater from Fos-sur-Mer.<br \/>completes the infrastructure currently in service within the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Area.<\/p><p><strong>This construction project was designed with three objectives in mind:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Meet regulatory requirements for water treatment ;<\/li><li>Integrate the resort into its environment to satisfy the needs of all residents, in particular by taking into account, right from the design phase, a thorough architectural and landscaping treatment to ensure the best possible integration of the resort into its surroundings;<\/li><li>Design a resort integrated into a sustainable development approach.
